In 2015, I successfully obtained my PhD in Plant biotechnology and molecular breeding from Mohaghegh Ardabili University in Iran. Soon later, I embarked on a postdoctoral research position at Laval University from 2015 to 2016. Subsequently, I served as an assistant professor at the Seed and Plant Improvement Institute (SPII) in Iran, where I focused on maize breeding until 2022. Currently, I am engaged in a postdoctoral role at Ghent University, where my research centers on investigating the underlying mechanisms of microspore embryogenesis in Brassicas, barley, and wheat.
