I am a fixed-term technologist at Council for Agricultural Research and Economics, Agriculture and Environment Research Center, CREA-AA Bari, Italy. I am an agronomist with a seven-year experience in agricultural research centers.

My activities are basically focused on management practices and application of on-farm composting technology, recycling agricultural wastes and compost use in organic farming, as well as environmental sustainability assessments of agricultural systems through energy analysis and carbon footprint methods. Author of 44 publications, 19 of which are listed in Scopus.

In the Bio4food project my role concerns the on-farm composting piles preparation, and management, in the pilot plant of CREA’s experimental farm, the compost application and evaluation, starting from the analysis of the organic waste utilized as raw materials till to the assessment of the interaction between soil nutrition and plants growth.
