In 2021, I graduated from Shandong Agricultural University in China with a Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture. In 2024, I earned my Master’s degree in Science from the State Key Laboratory of Systematic and Evolutionary Botany at the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where my research focused on “Editing genes related to fruit quality and preliminary study on new germplasm creation in Physalis pubescens.” In the same year, I joined the Holticell Lab at Ghent University to pursue a Ph.D. in Bioscience Engineering. My doctoral project focuses on “Light-driven cell-cell communication controlling adventitious root formation”
